Congratulations to our newly ordained Chaplains at the start on 2026.

What an awesome privilege it was to ordain such wonderful children of God to His ministry. The Board of the ESC(SA) congratulates you, and pray His blessing on your ministry. This special ceremony took place at our offices at the Edenvale Fire Station on 31 January 2026.
We had two ordination services in 2025
During 2025 we were honoured to have the Ordination services of two of our Chaplains.
On the 3rd of August, we had the ordination service of Gerhard Oelofse in Elsburg. It was a wonderful service in his home congregation.
Then, on December 20th, we had the ordination Service for JP Hamel & Grace Matsose at our offices at Edenvale Fire Station in the Conference Room. We are so thankful to the lord for the blessing and calling He has placed on their life’s, and we pray that God will use these chaplains mightily in His service.
What a profound honor to build on a long standing and wonderful relationship with SAESI as we could also play our part in their conference again. Our President, Reverend David Niebuhr did the opening of the Conference and we also had a stall in the exhibition area.
Many blessings to their Madams President, and Vice President on taking office. May we enjoy many more years of continued cooperation.
Due to the growth and challenges we experienced with legislation, the Board of the ESC(SA) unanimously decided to also register the ESC(SA) as a company under the CIPC. This process was completed in 2025, with the Registered board members being Rev. David Niebuhr – as President, Chaplain Gerhard Oelofse as Managing Board Member, and Charmaine Dick as Board Secretary.
As all legal requirements are met, and all structures are put in place, the Board will add members, as required to build up the board again.
This will assist us with resolving some of the challenges we had in the past.
